Her Story
After becoming a mother, Lisa shifted her focus to her family and community. As a parent of a child with an IEP, she has navigated the special education system firsthand — giving her a grounded perspective on the supports and resources our schools must provide to ensure every student can thrive.
For years, Lisa has been a driving force in Syosset's school PTAs, contributing across multiple buildings and leading initiatives such as the highly successful multicultural fair at HBT, South Woods, Robbins Lane, and Village.
She has also taken on key leadership roles in organizing and supporting a wide range of school events, including Staff Appreciation, Fall Festival, Cultural Unity, Holiday Boutique, Book Fair, Pie Sale, and Kindergarten Orientation — warmly welcoming new students and families into the community. Her dedication, attention to detail, and passion for bringing people together have helped foster a more connected, inclusive, and supportive school environment for all.
She has owned and operated businesses ranging from restaurants to a construction company, managing budgets, overseeing projects, and leading teams. Notably, her family's construction firm contributed to several local developments, including buildings in Astoria, Elmhurst, and Flushing — experiences that taught her the importance of transparency, accountability, and delivering quality results on time and within budget.
Lisa is running for the Board of Education to bring her financial expertise, community-centered leadership, and a parent's heartfelt perspective to the decision-making table.

她曾经营从餐厅到建筑公司在内的多种生意，负责预算管理、项目监督与团队带领。她的家族建筑公司参与了多个本地开发项目，包括 Astoria、Elmhurst 和 Flushing 的建筑工程。这些经历让她深知：透明、问责，以及按时按预算交付高质量成果的重要性。
Lisa 此次参选教育委员会，希望把她的金融专业、社区为本的领导力，以及一位家长发自内心的视角，带到决策的桌前。
Su Historia
Tras convertirse en madre, Lisa centró su atención en su familia y su comunidad. Como madre de un hijo con IEP (Programa de Educación Individualizada), ha recorrido de primera mano el sistema de educación especial, lo que le da una perspectiva sólida sobre los apoyos y recursos que nuestras escuelas deben ofrecer para que cada estudiante prospere.
Durante años, Lisa ha sido una fuerza impulsora en las PTAs de Syosset, colaborando en varios edificios escolares y liderando iniciativas como la exitosa feria multicultural en HBT, South Woods, Robbins Lane y Village.
También ha asumido funciones de liderazgo clave en la organización y el apoyo de una amplia variedad de eventos escolares, incluidos Staff Appreciation, Fall Festival, Cultural Unity, Holiday Boutique, Book Fair, Pie Sale y la Orientación de Kindergarten — recibiendo cálidamente a nuevos estudiantes y familias en la comunidad.
